Tárrega: "We gave everything to try for the equaliser"
The player talks to VCF Media
Valencia CF defender, César Tárrega, talked about the loss to CA Osasuna on LaLiga Matchday 2.
The game
“We went a man down too early, and we didn't come out as 'switched on' as we should have at a stadium like this. In addition to being a man short, the early goal also had a significant impact on us. We gave our all going for the equaliser. We're a team that have proven to thrive in the face of adversity. When we were down to ten men, we went for for the equaliser; they didn't make it easy for us either. We gave our all, and we have to take that into account. We stood up to be counted, especially in the second half, and we have to take away that showing from the game."
The next game against Getafe CF
“We have the will to make the fans happy with a win at home for them."
